Because being human is hard sometimes.

Maybe you're overwhelmed. Stuck in the same relationship patterns. Disconnected from yourself. Anxious about what comes next. Questioning who you are or what you want.

Or maybe life looks reasonably fine from the outside — but something underneath just isn't.

Counselling & psychotherapy that feels human.

Therapy doesn't require you to arrive with the right words, a diagnosis, or even a clear idea of what needs to change. We can start with what’s happening now.

graphic that says hello.

You don't have to figure it out alone.

I'm Devan.

I offer warm, relational and affirming counselling and psychotherapy for adults who want somewhere to make sense of what they're feeling, where their patterns come from, and what they may want to do differently.

I'm particularly interested in relationships, attachment, identity, LGBTQIA+ experiences, self-worth and the ways we learn to protect ourselves when connection hasn't always felt safe or easy.

I'm not here to tell you how you should live your life.

I'm here to get safely curious about it with you.

Ways we can work together.

Therapy isn't one-size-fits-all. Neither are humans.

You might already know what you're looking for. You might just know that something needs to feel different.

Here are a few places we could start.

For Individuals

You don't need to know exactly what's wrong.

Anxiety, overwhelm, relationships, attachment, self-worth, grief, big changes — or just that hard-to-name feeling that something isn't quite right.

For Gay Men

Sometimes you want to talk to someone who just… gets the context.

Dating, sex, relationships, intimacy, masculinity, shame, loneliness, belonging — and all the complicated stuff in between.

Relationships and Couples

It's rarely just about the dishes.

Communication, attachment, intimacy, trust, jealousy, disconnection — or somehow having the same fight for the hundredth time.

For Uni Students

Uni is about a lot more than uni.

Study stress, burnout, relationships, identity, independence, belonging — and occasionally wondering what the hell you're doing with your life.

Therapy isn't about fixing you.

My work is grounded in a person-centred, relational and attachment-informed approach.

That means I'm less interested in asking “What's wrong with you?” than becoming curious about what you've experienced, what you've learned to do to protect yourself, and whether those patterns are still helping you now.

Therapy is collaborative. You remain the expert on your life.

I bring curiosity, warmth, clinical training and a willingness to genuinely meet you in the conversation.

Not sure whether we'd be a good fit?

Neither am I yet.

That's what the first conversation is for.

I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation where you can tell me a little about what you're looking for, ask questions, and get a feel for how I work.

There's no expectation that you continue.

No pressure. Just a conversation.
