For LGBTQIA+ Folx

You shouldn't have to translate yourself before therapy can begin.

Sometimes being LGBTQIA+ has everything to do with what brings you to therapy.

Sometimes it has absolutely nothing to do with it.

Usually, life is more complicated than either.

I offer affirming therapy for LGBTQIA+ adults exploring identity, relationships, attachment, intimacy, family, sex and sexuality, shame, self-worth, body image, loneliness, belonging and the many transitions that can come with figuring out who you are and how you want to live.

Queerness doesn't need to become the explanation for everything — but it doesn't need to be edited out of the room either.

There's no "right" way to be queer here.

You might be out and proud. Quietly questioning. Somewhere in between. You may have known who you are forever or only recently found words that seem to fit.

Your relationships might be monogamous, open, polyamorous, consensually non-monogamous or still very much under construction.

You might want to talk about coming out, family or discrimination.

Or you might want to talk about your terrible boss.

My job isn't to decide what a healthy identity, relationship, sex life or future should look like for you.

It's to offer somewhere safe enough to get curious about what you want, what gets in the way, what you've learned about yourself from other people, and what might feel more authentic now

No translating. No performing.

Come as you are.

Just another real human, talking to another real human.
