Support for Veterans & Serving Members

You deserve support, during service and beyond.

Whatever you’re carrying—stress, grief, relationship difficulties, the transition out of service, or something you haven’t found words for—you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Need help now?

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911 in the U.S. or 000 in Australia, or go to the nearest emergency department.

Behind every number is a person, a family, and a community. Accessible support matters—and you don’t have to wait until things reach a crisis to reach out.

Someone to talk to beyond a crisis

In the U.S., the Vet Center Call Center is available around the clock on 1-877-927-8387 (1-877-WAR-VETS). Combat veterans and their families can talk about military experiences and the challenges of returning to civilian life.

At Therapy for Real Humans, I offer reduced-cost and concession sessions—and, in some circumstances, no-cost support—for current and former U.S. military and Australian Defence Force members.

We can talk about what’s going on, what you need, and what feels financially manageable. Sessions are offered by telehealth, subject to availability, suitability, and requirements where you’re located.

Get in touch and mention veteran or serving-member support. The first chat is free.

This practice provides scheduled counselling, rather than emergency or 24-hour crisis care. If you need urgent support, please use the services above instead of waiting for a reply.
